Fire in a Dark House
https://www.facebook.com/FireInADarkHouse/
We’re now at the half way point for Fire. Just five Thursdays left.
I play Carl Roebling, an immigrant German farmer who years before escaped the endless warring of his homeland with wife to start a family in America, free from the tribalism and fear-mongering of his home, or so he believed.
Now it’s 1918 and America has finally entered World War One in earnest. Anti-German sentiment is high and Carl faces the same fear and ugliness he was sure he’d left behind. Now it threatens his son and his daughters and the once-safe life he’d built for them all.
It’s a beautiful and timely piece, please do come if you’re in the LA area.
Cheers!
